Someday

Dear darling. Remember the earth doesn’t stop spinning, the birds don’t stop chirping, the wind doesn’t stop blowing through the trees, your heart doesn’t stop beating. Remember that life moves on. So sometimes, no matter how hard, you must as well. The world is a big place. You can always start over again.

Unless we see our own failures, we will never be able to deal fairly and biblically with the failures of others. Unless we are willing to be honest about our own sins, we will always distort and overreact to the sins of others.

Even though I’ve
Erased the letters,
Your name still leaves scars.

Even though I’ve
Burned these pictures,
Your face is in the stars.

Even though I’ve
Done my best—
Tried so hard
Just to forget—
There’s no escaping
What you meant to me,
And how much this all hurts.

I continue to exist, and he continues to exist, but we don’t exist together. Days continue to pass no matter who I exist with, though.

spiritualinspiration:

Learning to walk in the destiny God has for you is a process. The first step is to get a vision, a clear picture from God that you can see. The next step is to trust Him — to believe in faith that it will happen. And then finally, you take a step of faith and live out what God has promised no matter what your circumstances or people around you have to say.
First you dream it, than you believe it, and then you live it. Every dream I’ve ever received from God has followed this same pattern. We see in scripture that even the great men and women of the Bible walked through this process. They had to overcome doubts, they struggled on their journey, but they held fast to what God said knowing that He is faithful to complete what He started in us!
Today, if you are having a hard time believing what God has promised will come to pass, understand that you are in a process. Don’t empower doubt with your words. Instead, keep declaring that He who promised is faithful! Keep the vision in front of you knowing that it is for an appointed time. Dream it and believe it because it won’t be long until you are living the blessed life God has prepared for you!

Fight for your relationship

If it is just a big misunderstanding, then fight for your relationship. You are happy in every area. You laugh together, you pray together, you enjoy one another. There was a big misunderstanding. They took what you said the wrong way and because of their past hurts, they now feel you don’t care anymore. Misunderstandings can destroy any healthy relationship but it doesn’t have to be that way. Misunderstandings can and should be worked out. It just takes 2 people who are both willing to put everything out on the table and talk it out. Fight for your relationship if it means that much to you.

Until this moment, I had not realized that someone could break your heart twice, along the very same fault lines.
